Mo-saiQ Empowerment Exchange (ME²)
ME² is a culturally affirming network that empowers scholars to pursue and persist toward their career aspirations with an activated community that will uplift, open doors, affirm, and encourage scholars through their journey. This network is designed to provide a sense of belonging, validation, connection and empowerment, addressing the unique challenges faced by these young people and fostering an environment where they feel at home and can experience not being alone.
THE SCHOLAR EXPERIENCE
ME² is an empowering network where scholars will develop community and build relationships to support their life vision and aspirations.
Networking Events / Convenings – Scholars will be invited to attend virtual and in-person networking events, forums, and discussion groups where they can connect with peers, professionals, and alumni.
Peer study groups / Tutoring resources – We understand there are access and opportunity gaps when it comes to student support and academic help. We create space and connections so students can support each other academically and tackle challenging subjects with math and science educatorsT
Informational workshops / Seminars – We provide academic, career and cultural learning sessions that provide guidance for scholars (and their parents) as they navigate high school and prepare for their post-secondary chapter.
Mentorship & Sponsorship – we train careers professionals that want to provide mentorship, guidance, advice and networking opportunities to our scholars. We also provide scholars access to powerful professionals across industry and institutions who can open doors and provide college/career opportunities.
1:1 College & Career Advisor – scholars will have access to college and career advisors to help them throughout their journey.
